Medicine and Veterinary are among the biggest year-on-year percentage increases in applications for honours degree courses (veterinary +16%). At least the same number that will go for vet studies to UCD, will go to Poland (approx. 80).

Medical Poland Admission Office has secured new deadlines for applications for Medicine (undergraduate programme, 12 semesters) and Veterinary Medicine (undergraduate programme, 11 semesters) at two universities to match the Irish LC result day on 7th September.

Applications now open: Nicolaus Copernicus University's (in Torun) Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz is Ireland's favourite and most popular Polish medical school with some 100 Irish students studying medicine in English. Medical Poland Admission Office has been proudly facilitating student admissions and progression at Collegium Medicum for the last 6 years.

The Medical Poland Veterinary Preparatory Programme is a response to feedback from students and academics with regard to increasing levels of knowledge in biology, chemistry, and physics to prepare students to succeed and make the most of their veterinary programme. 

The programme is designed to lead through the most relevant areas revising (and in some cases introducing) areas one needs to learn to be well prepared for the academic year and is essential for success in the first two years of the Veterinary programme. During the first years, you will face more extended parts of sciences such as biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, and microbiology.

There is no central application system for third level institutions in Poland (or Ireland's CAO/Central Application Office's equivalent), so everything is different from one university to the next one. That makes it 6th result in Poland overall. However, in terms of the Teaching category, it is classified as the 2nd position. Also, 2nd place when it comes to gender proportions (76 vs 24).
